VLX 186

Description

VLX 186 is an environmental friendly, acrylic admixture for mortars and a primer for non absorbing substrates. It does not contain organic solvents. It is used as a primer for bonding tiles on demanding substrates (old tiles, marble, mosaic).

Application Fields

  • Suitable for improving the properties of tile adhesives grouts
  • Increases bond strength and significantly reduces water absorption
  • It is used as a primer for bonding tiles on demanding substrates (old tiles, marble, mosaic)
  • For use as a primer It must be diluted with water (2 parts water : 1 part VLX 186)

Advantages

  • Tile grouts, in which VLX 186 has been added, are resistant to staining and retain their color for extended periods
  • VLX 186 is used as an adhesion bridge between the old and the new concrete
  • The properties of the mortars that are being improved after the addition of VLX 186 are:
    Mechanical strength
    Adhesion strength
    Shrinkage reduction
    Flexibility
    Freeze resistance
    Water proofing ability
    Resistance to friction
    Resistance to acids
    Workability

Storage

In a dry environment with temperatures above 0 ° C for 12 months from date of production.
