THRAKON Bitu-Primer

THRAKON Bitu-Primer is a bituminous varnish consisting of oxidized bitumen and solvents. The film that is formed after the evaporation of solvents is not affected by thin acids, alkalis solutions and other corrosive chemicals. It is not oil resistant.

• Can be applied to many substrates such as concrete, stone, metal or wood
• Compatible with polyurethane but not with polystyrene
• It is used to seal the surface before the application of bituminous membranes or layers of hot bitumen
• It is ideal for the treatment of vertical sections, parapets, etc.
• Its thin formulation allows deep penetration into the substrate and creates an excellent adhesion
• It can also be used for waterproofing and protect against corrosion walls, foundations, pipes and metal tanks

• Strong bonding on concrete, stone or wood
• It is compatible with polyurethane and polystyrene
• Deep penetration capability into the substrate pores

It is stored in sealed containers, in a cool and well ventilated environment for 12 months from date of production.
