POTENTIAL CAUSES OF THE PROBLEM<\/strong><\/p>\n

a) Increased moisture due to lack of insulation
\nb) The paint was exposed to high solar radiation
\nc) Heavy contraction on the substrate, which could not follow the paint, as it was not resilient<\/p>\n

SOLUTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1: Check the surface thoroughly for loose parts of paint<\/p>\n

Step 2: If there are loose particles, frayed or peeling old paint, remove them with a metal spatula<\/p>\n

Step 3: Clean the surface thoroughly from dust. This stage is important for the correct restoration<\/p>\n

Step 4: Check for signs of where the wall has been hit and paint has been removed<\/p>\n

Step 5: Small irregularities are fixed with STATUS 100% ACRYLIC PUTTY, applied with a metal spatula. For larger gaps, use lightweight acrylic stucco STATUS ONE COVER, which is soft and easy to work, does not need sanding and can be painted as soon as the surface dries. STATUS ONE COVER does not drip and is ideal for filling joints, cracks and all kinds of openings at thickness up to 3cm, with one pass<\/p>\n

Step 6: Application of the deep penetration primer, GLX 292 FLEX PRIM<\/p>\n

Step 7: After 4-5 hours and when the primer has dried, apply the elastomeric insulating paint STATUS ALL WEATHER in exterior walls with a roller or brush. Allow the first layer to thoroughly dry and after 24 hours apply the second layer<\/p>\n

STATUS ALL WEATHER prevents the formation of mold, and is resistant to retaining dirt. It has a special composition with integrated UV filters, while it creates an elastic membrane that covers all the hairline cracks and remains flexible without cracking or peeling.<\/p>\n
