What do we need?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In cases where there are no inclinations formed on the concrete slab, we have the phenomenon of standing water whenever there is rainfall. We should protect the concrete from moisture to avoid further problems at the surface of the concrete slab (terrace) or on the ceiling of the house ( from the bottom of the roof ) .<\/p>\n

How do we do it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To protect the surface from the standing water, we should apply the polyurethane system of THRAKON. FLX 390 of THRAKON is a complete polyurethane waterproofing system suitable for the most extreme applications that ensures excellent waterproofing over a long time.<\/p>\n

Step by step<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 1: The substrate should be thoroughly cleaned with a broom from any loose particles, dust etc<\/p>\n

STEP 2: Apply the repairing mortar WRM 525, which has particularly high resistance (R4), in order to repair defects (pits) that are present on the substrate<\/p>\n

STEP 3: Clean the surface with water under pressure. If there is standing water, you need to remove it with a rubber spatula to continue with the application of the primer<\/p>\n

STEP 4: Apply the two component primer FLX 390 PU PRIMER in one layer. For absorbent surfaces apply FLX 390 POROUS PRIMER<\/p>\n

STEP 5: Apply the first layer of the one component, elastic polyurethane membrane FLX 390 PU<\/p>\n

STEP 6: A second layer is applied in no sooner than 12 hours and no later than 36 hours. THRAKON FABRIC is suggested for reinforcing the polyurethane membrane. THRAKON FABRIC is applied before the second coat<\/p>\n

STEP 7: Protect the waterproofing membrane, by applying the one component elastic aliphatic polyurethane membranthe FLX 390 TOP COAT.
